During the Spring Festival period, the Hebei branch of CHN Energy generated electricity of 594 million kWh in total, a year-on-year increase of 12.92%, reaching a new high throughout the company’s history. The company mobilized its employees to carry out risk screening and control according to relevant standards as well as the characteristics of safe power generation, infrastructure construction, and energy supply for winter peak season. Efforts were made to identify problems and take control measures, with focus on safety risk prevention in extreme weathers such as rainstorms, snowstorms, and freezing, major risk source management, operations of key generation units and heating network systems, power monitoring system network security, and high-risk operations.

To ensure fuel supply, the company set up a special workforce to strengthen communication and contact with coal mines, railways, and the grid, advance the implementation of fuel procurement plans, push forward fuel collection and transportation, and coordinate the delivery of external coal purchased under long-term agreements and the complementation of coal purchased according to market prices. These measures guaranteed full-amount delivery of purchased coal.
