On June 28, the 320MW hydro-solar project of the Pubugou hydropower station under Dadu River Company, a subsidiary of CHN Energy, was approved for registration by Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The project is the largest photovoltaic project of CHN Energy in Sichuan and the No.1 engineering project in Ganluo County, Liangshan Prefecture, marking a major breakthrough made by Daduhe Company in the development of hydro-wind-solar power bases and the construction of new energy mountain photovoltaic demonstration bases.
Located in Ganluo County, Sichuan’s Liangshan Prefecture, the project has a planned installed capacity of 320MW. Relying on the power transmission channel of the Pubugou hydropower station, it will relieve the pressure on Sichuan’s electricity supply in the peak season. When completed, the project is expected to supply 4 billion kWh of green electricity to Sichuan, save standard coal of 411,100 tons, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 339,500 tons each year, creating remarkable economic, environmental and social benefits.
