As of May 3, CHN Energy Baoshen Railway has achieved a cumulative freight volume of 100.353 million tons this year, marking a milestone in energy transportation.
The company has solidified its role as a key artery for national energy supply through optimized transport operations and enhanced coordination mechanisms.
By operating the Baoshen South Line and Shenshuo Line at full capacity, it has maximized the deployment of 10,000-ton heavy-haul trains while closely monitoring coal market dynamics in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia regions to optimize loading sequences and train scheduling. Strategic implementation of differentiated pricing strategies has effectively driven a modal shift from road to rail transport.
Concurrently, a Transport Efficiency Enhancement initiative has improved locomotive dispatching and rolling stock utilization. Coordinated efforts to boost the transport of thermal coal and large-scale logistics have yielded dual improvements in operational efficiency and economic returns.
